These terms apply when you access or use the Dentstock Platform. By logging in, you agree to these terms.
Your organisation’s use of Dentstock is also governed by its Membership Agreement. If there is any conflict, the Membership Agreement will take precedence.
1. Using the Platform
The Platform helps authorised members find products, access supplier pricing, manage purchasing and place orders.
Please keep your login details secure and ensure the information you provide is accurate. Your organisation is responsible for managing its users, permissions, spending limits and approval processes.
Dentstock may rely on instructions, orders and approvals submitted through an authorised account.
2. Acting on your behalf
Your organisation authorises Dentstock to:
- place orders based on its instructions and approvals;
- communicate with suppliers about its account;
- retrieve product and account pricing from suppliers;
- obtain order, invoice and delivery information; and
- facilitate payments and help resolve supplier queries.
This does not make Dentstock the supplier or manufacturer of the products.
3. Products and pricing
We take reasonable steps to keep product information, pricing and availability accurate. However, suppliers may change their prices, stock, delivery charges, minimum-order requirements or product details.
Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Final pricing and availability will be confirmed when the order is processed or invoiced.
Dentstock or the relevant supplier may correct an obvious pricing or product error and amend or cancel an affected item. You will not be charged for an item that is cancelled.
4. Orders and supplier terms
Orders placed through the Platform are sent to the relevant supplier. A Platform acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean the supplier has accepted the order.
The supplier remains responsible for stock, fulfilment, delivery, product quality and returns. Orders may also be subject to its delivery, credit, cancellation and returns terms.
Requests to change, cancel or return an order are subject to the relevant supplier’s approval. Dentstock will help where it reasonably can.
5. Payments
Payments to Dentstock’s preferred suppliers are managed through the Platform using our payment providers.
By placing or approving an order, your organisation authorises the applicable payment to be processed using its selected payment method. Other suppliers may continue to be paid directly.
Processing a payment through the Platform does not make Dentstock the seller of the products.
6. Product suitability
Product information and suggested alternatives are provided to support purchasing decisions. Your organisation remains responsible for checking that a product or alternative is suitable for its intended use and following the manufacturer’s instructions.
For medicines and regulated products, your organisation is responsible for maintaining any required licences or registrations and ensuring that only authorised users place orders.
7. Reports and purchasing information
Reports, budgets, savings figures and order histories are provided to help manage purchasing.
They may not include orders placed elsewhere, supplier changes, credits, returns, delivery charges or invoices that have not yet been processed. They should therefore be checked against supplier invoices and your organisation’s own financial records.
8. Confidentiality and responsible use
Dentstock pricing, negotiated discounts, supplier arrangements and formularies are confidential and intended for use within your organisation.
Users must not scrape, reproduce or share Platform information externally, interfere with the Platform, access another organisation’s information or use the Platform to create a competing service.
9. Platform availability and data
We aim to keep the Platform reliable and available, but maintenance, supplier systems, payment services or technical issues may occasionally affect it.
Your organisation retains ownership of the information it provides. Dentstock may process and share that information where reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, retrieve pricing, place orders, facilitate payments and provide support.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice and the Membership Agreement.
10. General
The Platform and its content are owned by or licensed to Dentstock. The liability provisions in your organisation’s Membership Agreement also apply to use of the Platform.
We may update these terms as the Platform develops. The latest version will be available through the Platform, and we will highlight any material changes.
